About Shonna

Shonna Stallworth has been singing before audiences of 2 to 1000’s since she was 10 years old. She began her music career along side her sister Trina as 1/3 of a locally acclaimed gospel trio “The Angels of Faith”. Her career shifted when Shonna, joined by her sister established a gospel trio by the name of Perfect Praise. The group debuted nationally on the world famous Amateur Night on, “Its Show Time at the Apollo” in New York City.

Shonna’s professional career launched when the trio signed to World Wide Gospel music label and recorded “Sanctified Soul,” which charted Billboard, was featured in WWG-BreakThru magazine and CD compilation, Urban Network’s CD compilation, received national and international air-play, and showcased the group on Bobby Jones Gospel show on BET. Performances of the groups television appearances have been a mainstay throughout her career and can currently be seen on episodes of the Gospel SuperFest show on Bounce TV.

Shonna and her sisters later recorded the title cut, “Enlarge My Territory” on The Sounds of Jabez CD with Jabez Family of Companies. The CD sold over 10,000 copies and featured the song on “The Potter’s Touch” on TBN, and with a group performance on “Celebration,” and Share-A-Thon on Daystar Television network.

Shonna is an established songwriter with her most recent work “Butterfly” being published with gospel legend Candi Staton on her latest gospel release, “I Will Sing My Praise To You.” Shonna and her husband Marcus founded InnerSpring Music/Media and released her debut solo album, “Butterfly,” co-produced by Author “Bam Bam” Latin of San Marcos, Texas. Album highlights include, a performance of “Blessing Me,” a single co-written by her sister Trina being featured in “The Road We Walk” series on Daystar Television. Also, the video release of the albums first single “Holdin On”. Shonna and her husband Marcus reside in Dallas, Texas along with their two beautiful daughters Hope, and Faith, and little furry friend Scotti. Her mission in life is to be a vessel for the love of God to freely flow through and to convey a message of hope that with belief in God, all things are possible.
